Our Water Quality

At RippleFX Water, we bottle 3 kinds of water every day: Purified, Distilled, and Natural Spring water.  We also make Alkaline drinking water and Isotonic Saline, but Purified Water is by far our most popular.

Purified Water Process

Purified Water Process

Source water is purchased from the City of New Westminster at commercial rates. We then filter out small sediments, gases, and chemicals using fine filters and carbon. Reverse Osmosis Membranes remove undesirable dissolved metals and minerals. What we are left with is pure H20. Every batch is tested carefully to ensure the purification recipe has been followed. Finally, we add Ozone (the 3rd molecule of oxygen) to sterilize the water during the bottling process. Our purified water is made fresh and bottled every day.

Spring Water Process

Natural Spring Water Process

In keeping environmental promises, we chose a water source as close to the bottling plant as possible. Our Natural Spring water travels about 50 kilometers from source near Mission, BC, to plant using dedicated Water Tankers. The source water for our Natural Spring Water flows from the Rocky Mountains in deep underground aquifers then surfaces near Mission, BC where it is transferred to dedicated water tankers for its short, 50km drive to our bottling plant. The light mineral make up gives it a smooth flavour and slightly alkaline profile. We just filter out sediment and add ozone for sterilization.

Vapor Distilled Water Process

Distilled Water Process

Vapour Distillers is the most efficient distilling process for water. Our purified water, enters the distiller and passes through a heat exchanger that raises the temperature of the water so the boiling time is reduced. The water is then boiled in a chamber under an evaporator core where elements capture the vapor and condense it back to water in a compressed chamber. The compression is generated through a spinning impeller. Finally, waste is separated and carried away using a small flow of water. RippleFX Water uses Mueller Superstill and Norland Vapor Compressors to make this super purified water.

Testing water quality

In-House & Third Party Testing

All water processed at RippleFX Water are monitored closely using sensors and meters that verify the recipe has been followed and that there have been no failures in the equipment used. Water is tested both at RippleFX Water and by Exova, a local testing laboratory in Surrey, BC.

Water Quality

Quality Assurance Programs

RippleFX Water employs a HACCP-based quality assurance program that assures customers receive safe high-quality water products. Employees train using Standard Operating Procedures, Critical Control Point Monitoring, and Good Manufacturing Practices to deliver accurate orders and on-time deliveries to our customers. Production coding printed on each bottle facilitate tracking for an effective recall plan allowing RippleFX Water to find product should there be a quality or safety concern.
